Sorry for not posting for a while, I was in the process of moving the blog to a new server and I wanted to be sure that I didn’t lose any posts in the process, more to come later.

The blog was down recently because the server that it is on got a DDoS attack, everything seems back to normal now, I have some work to do now, some new widgets and a wordpress upgrade. I will post soon about Janicon and NCYC. What are those you say? You will find out soon.

As of a few minutes ago, I have set Facebook to automaticly import my blog posts as Facebook notes. So now my blog posts are in three places. The blog itself, LiveJournal, and Facebook.  Also as an added bonus, any Facebook comments will be imported into the blog, thanks to a WordPress plugin.

I am in the process of tweaking the blog, I just changed he theme, and also tweaked the theme to add the tags. I’m researching plugins and whatnot as well, there’s now a page on the blog that shows all the plugins I currently use.

I just updated my blog to the latest version of WordPress. I got tired of Live+Press constantly breaking so I replaced it with a different LiveJournal plugin. I lost the moods on the blog, but that’s ok. I will continue to crosspost to LiveJournal as long as it is still possible.

I’ve made other behind the scenes changes, mainly to improve how the site looks to search engines and what not. More changes to come.

So I had a date last Wednesday, it went pretty well. She even said she was willing to go with me to a movie, I called Thursday, no answer, left a message. Later sent a text message too, called Friday, no answer, didn’t leave a message, 7 days later no return call. She may be in Orlando at this conference she was telling me about, but still, it’d be nice if she would acknowledge that I called even if it was just by email….NEXT I mean REALLY she must have no time for me, SHEESH!

New person, within the first day we have started sending IMs back and forth on Yahoo. It’s now like the 3rd day, she even helped me with something I was working on for my brother. I am so thankful, I want to take her out to a movie, well, she’s considering the date question, but in the meantime, she had to bate me to ask for her phone number, am I really that dumb and blind, she said it was like pulling teath, I feel so bad about that, sorry, I am only human.We get along pretty well, but dumb me can’t seem to think straight enough to come up with questions to ask, something is messed up about that. I mean, I am most certainly curious. I’ll come up with something, I’m sure, just hope I don’t scare her away, there’s always the chance that she doesn’t like me after she sees me in person. But ya know, if someone doesn’t like me for me, that’s just the way it is, no one can change me, only I or God for that matter, can change me.

You may not notice, but the blog is now on a new server, the old one will be shutting down at the end of the month, I’d like to thank The Host Group for making the transition seemless!

I’m having some issues with how the sidebar displays links, if I had linked to your blog or site before, don’t worry I intend on adding it back again. I am going to be making some more changes soon, and I’ll be posting an explanation as to why I really started the blog over from scratch, a full explanation.

Someone set up us the bomb.

Nah, what really happened is I was futzing around in the old database trying to figure out a problem with the widgets plugin, and I messed up the database, I couldn’t reimport what I had for some reason so I just gave up. I waited a while hoping my old host would have responded to my trouble ticket, but after a month or so and two tickets I gave up.

I went on a hunt for a new host, to relaunch the blog from scratch and that’s when I found WebbleYou. I am glad I did, At first I had a problem setting up Live+Press so I could still do the cross posting, I shot an email off, got a response quickly, not only did I get an explination of the problem, it was fixed for me. Apparently it was an issue with a PHP4/PHP5 incompatibility.
