Jacksonville Beach Balloon Girl

Earlier today as I walked outside my house, I found this odd little folded up note attached to a popped balloon, I walked in the house and cut the string and opened the note to see if I could read it even though it had been rained on, sure enough, even though the lines on the paper leaked the print was still legible, and this is what the note dated 12/18/09  said.

Dear, Whoever finds this balloon,
Whoever finds this balloon, I will
fall madly in love with. I am
a girl who lives in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
I like playing football, playing on the beach with
friends, and spending time with family.
I hope whoever finds this is a
boy, is single, and likes adventures. (there was a smiley face here)

Sincerely,
Balloon Girl
(a heart drawn on here)

It is however just my luck that this Balloon Girl left no way to reach her or anything, it would also be just my luck that if she found this she was too young for me, heh not that 31 is old, yeah, I just turned 31. Still it is pretty cool huh?

Wow I did it (Pun Intended)

For the last few years, hearing gaming friends and even family talking about World of Warcraft, I absolutely refused to even try playing it, because I didn’t like the idea of buying a game, and then paying for it, and paying for it and paying for it. However over the last year or so, I began to realize, for some things, I was doing that anyway. For instance, Xbox Live, I pay yearly for that, just to play games online, Netflix, I pay per month for that, for one disc so I can stream all I feel like over the Xbox I am already paying yearly for. Some games I buy game currency to purchase pixels.

Then recently I read a post on the Entertainment Consumers Association that someone was pointing out that even though WoW costs money to play, you can get more fun out of it than going to a movie. Recently when I went to see The Blind Side, literally my ticket for a non matine movie without a discount was $10….$10 for an hour and a half  to 2 hours of fun. It began to make more sense to me, so I went out and bought the battle chest. I am a Wow player now. Fell right in the trap, thanks Blizzard.
