So I finally broke down and bought a license for FixTunes, primarily for the album art feature since I am plenty happy with Jaikoz for tagging. So even though I am not really using FixTunes for tagging, that feature of it disappointed me. Why? Sorry but Every track of the Grits album “The Art of Translation” is NOT the same song. It identifies the entire album as the same song, and the files are already tagged correctly so there’s no reason for it to be doing that. That’s why I will ONLY use it for the album art.

I'm glad you checked out FixTunes and that we can at least help you update your album art for now. But, I would like to figure out why "The Art of Translation" is all being identified as the same song in your library. The tag information for the song, before the update, must have led FixTunes to believe that this was the same song. If the tag information is incomplete or sparse it is difficult for FixTunes to find the most likely update. I'm sorry that that happened on this album. For now, to fix this, you can work with a specific group of songs by creating a playlist in your iTunes, then go under options on your FixTunes screen to select the playlist, this way you'll just be working with the specific songs that you chose. I'm glad you checked out FixTunes and I hope as we continue to improve and listen to what you would like to see in new versions, the updates will be even easier to implement into your own library. You can email me at kelly (at) fixtunes (dot) com and I'll be happy to work with you further with any questions or suggestions you have for our improvement! Thanks again for the feedback! -Kelly
