Trainer
Here’s something I intended to post months ago, but somehow it got left in the drafts, I was mad at my personal trainer that day, he can’t count.
Go back to math class
12 and 15 are not equal to 8!
14 is not equal to 12!

What‽
The mark you see at the end of that is an Interrobang, and it’s perfect for describing how I feel after seeing Karas the Prophecy, which I found out, was probably the first three episodes of the Anime called Karas.
One of my co-workers who had previously seen it, told me that he didn’t like the animation, it didn’t bother me so much, but it did sort of mess with my head. The issue I have, is that you are expected to just accept everything, though jack crap is actually explained. The following morning, I just want to say “What‽”
Regal corporate is apparently dealing with my complaint over the local theatres canceling Anime Bento. I still want to see the one movie I missed, so I moved the DVD for it up to the top of my Rent Anime list.
The Regals in my area canceled it this week due to “Lack of interest”,sure, sorry but “lack of interest” is NOT equal to “lack of promotion”! There’s a BIG difference!
Last night I saw the first Anime Bento movie. Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, which I’m not so sure if it belonged as an Anime Bento movie or not. The thing is, Robotech was an American adaptation of Macross, which came from Japan, this movie on the other hand was an American attempt to continue the American version of the series, they went to a Korean company which apparently they claim, sometimes Koreans actually create Anime for Japan. It was good, of course, and whether a die hard Anime fan or not, you have to respect the shows that sparked Anime interest in the United States. I was a Robotech fan growing up, and no die hard Anime fan is going to ruin that for me.
A lot of Anime fans say, if it’s not made in Japan, it’s not Anime, well sorry, but that’s not true, in Japan EVERYTHING that is animated is Anime. Even Code Lyoko, which was actually a Canadian cartoon, in Japan would be called Anime.
You can see, I have a real conflict though, does Robotech belong or not, really, that doesn’t matter to me though, I liked the movie so that’s all that matters to me, and I am anxious to see the next one, I’m going to Full Metal Alchemist tonight, and maybe a friend from work will join me for the Lupin the 3rd movie next week, which I think I recognized Tony Oliver’s voice in the Robotech movie, but I could be wrong. I’m starting to recognize the American voice actors and their names, that’s sad.
